LOVERS of rumpy-pumpy have voted steak the food to get them most in the mood.
It was chosen by more than a quarter of people in a poll.
And the sight of a fine T-bone was deemed more of a turn-on than lovers’ favourites chocolate or oysters.
A steak also got the juices flowing for more people than asparagus and sushi, considered aphrodisiacs.
But one in ten said a McDonald’s was their ideal meal to turn up the temperature in the bedroom. Pizza and pasta also made the top ten.
The poll, for recipe box service Green Chef, shows more than one in five people lack inspiration in the kitchen on how to get things sizzling in the bedroom.
While steak appeals to the red-blooded, food that causes gas or smelly breath is a passion-killer for one in three.
Meanwhile, Green Chef has unveiled recipes to help get sex on the menu — and suggestions include truffle-dusted steak with asparagus and baby roast potatoes.
