Wonderwall.com is taking a look back at the stars who found love, suffered heartbreak or experienced some other major event in their love lives in July 2021, starting with this not-so-secret-anymore couple… “Spider-Man” co-stars Zendaya and Tom Holland were snapped making out in a car in Los Angeles on July 1 — two years after their rumored romance first came to an end. (See photos here.) The pair, who were first linked in July 2017, never officially confirmed they were anything more than friends — despite rampant media reports to the contrary. The first indication they’d gone their separate ways romantically came in July 2019 when Tom was seen holding hands with another woman, Olivia Bolton, at a music festival in London. Since then, both he and Z have been linked to other people.

On July 19, Celebitchy reported that a print edition of Us Weekly made the wild claim that Jennifer Aniston has been “enjoying a fling” with Halle Berry’s former long-term partner, Gabriel Aubry. The article — which curiously does not appear on Us Weekly’s website, indicating there may be something fishy with the reporting — went on to claim that, according to the source, Jen has been keeping her dates with the comely Canadian “low-key and under the radar.” The alleged insider added that Jen isn’t looking for “someone special for a long-term, exclusive deal.” Even stranger, the article noted that the Emmy winner has a secret “friends with benefits situation” with ex-husband Brad Pitt … which contradicts Us Weekly’s previous reporting about the nature of their relationship. “Brad won’t mind that Jen’s having fun and enjoying dates with Gabriel. They don’t really talk about other people they hang out with. It would be a little awkward. Brad trusts Jen to make the right choices with this stuff and knows she can look after herself,” the source reportedly said.
According to Brides magazine, which published an exclusive wedding photo, “Glee” alum Jenna Ushkowitz married David Stanley in an outdoor ceremony at a historic home in Los Angeles on July 24. The duo — who got engaged in August 2020 — celebrated three years of coupledom in June 2021.
On July 13, Page Six reported that, according to a source, Irina Shayk only likes rumored boyfriend Kanye West — to whom she was first linked in May — “as a friend.” The source went on to allege that the model “doesn’t want a relationship” with the rapper and “doesn’t want the association that they are dating.” A few days later, however, People magazine reported that, according to it’s source, the father of four and the Russian beauty are “very much still dating,” and, in fact, Irina is “so upset at the lies” that their relationship is “cooling off,” she’s considering taking legal action against Page Six. Meanwhile, Kanye and estranged wife Kim Kardashian are said to be “getting along great” as they co-parent their four children. Kim even brought their kids to Kanye’s album launch event in Atlanta on July 22.
On July 7, “Flip or Flop” star Christina Haack (formerly Christina El Moussa and Christina Anstead) was snapped for the first time with her new boyfriend, realtor and former cop Joshua Hall. As their romance made headlines, she took to Instagram to confirm they met this spring and that things between them are serious. (She’s posted about him on social media several more times since then.) Meanwhile, Christina’s ex-husband, former “Wheeler Dealers” host Ant Anstead, made his relationship with his new girlfriend, Renee Zellweger, Instagram official on July 4: He shared a video of the Oscar-winning actress carrying Hudson, the nearly 2-year-old son he shares with the HGTV personality.
On July 21, Kristin Cavallari took to her Instagram Story to shoot down rumors that she’s “involved in a love triangle.” Since late 2020, there have been persistent rumors that she’s dating either Austen Kroll or Craig Conover. (They’re pictured here with her BFF, Justin Anderson, in December.) In recent months, however, Austen has also been linked to “Summer House” newcomer Ciara Miller, while Craig has also been linked to “Summer House” veteran Paige DeSorbo. (More on those rumored romances here.) “I haven’t been involved in a love triangle since I was in high school. I’m not dating anybody. I haven’t dated anybody in a few months, and these two guys that I’ve been linked to for the past year are my friends. That’s it. I’ve never dated either one of them. I can guarantee that I’m not gonna date either one of them. And it’s possible for a grown woman to be friends with a grown man and for that to be it. So I’m not dating anybody, I can assure you of that. I’ve actually really enjoyed being single for the last few months,” she said.
On July 6, Page Six reported that, according to a source, Sharon Stone is dating 25-year-old rapper RMR, with whom she’s been seen several times in recent weeks. Two days later, however, the 63-year-old “Basic Instinct” actress and her 21-year-old son, Roan Bronstein, laughed off the report to a TMZ videographer. When asked if it’s true she’s dating RMR, Sharon replied with a simple “no,” while her son said, “You couldn’t have asked a funnier question.”

After their hangouts made headlines, Brian told E! Radio personality Bobby Bones married Caitlin Parker at their home in the Nashville area on July 17, reported People magazine, which published exclusive wedding photos. Guests at the season 27 “Dancing With the Stars” winner’s nuptials included country music singers Dierks Bentley, Jake Owen and Chuck Wicks as well as Charlamagne Tha God, tennis star Andy Roddick — who served as a groomsman — and Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney of Dan + Shay, who performed the newlyweds’ first dance song. (The duo also posed together on the red carpet at the 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards: Unscripted event in May.) The couple have openly discussed going through a rough patch in their relationship on the current season of “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.”
On July 12 — after “Southern Charm” star Naomie Olindo suddenly unfollowed her boyfriend of more than three years, Metul Shah, on social media and deleted old photos of him from her Instagram — buzz started growing online that they’d quietly split after she caught him cheating. An anonymous source told Deux Moi that the anesthesiologist “cheated with his ex” — a woman with whom he’d been “talking again for over a year.” (Other anonymous sources claimed he cheated with more than one woman.) Naomie, who moved to New York City for Metul earlier this summer, soon took to her Instagram Story to confirm the breakup news. In the process, she confirmed her ex strayed from the relationship and implied hat she learned he was cheating when she discovered damning messages between him and other women.

On July 6, E! News reported that, according to a source, off-and-on “The Bachelorette” couple Clare Crawley and Dale Moss are “engaged again,” although “a second proposal did not happen” and “there’s no wedding planning at this time.” The insider added that the controversial couple — who got engaged just four episodes into season 16 of “The Bachelorette” in 2020 and briefly split in early 2021 — “aren’t even living together permanently yet.” In other Bachelor Nation reconciliation news… Deux Moi reported on July 2 that, according to an anonymous source, Madison Prewett — who competed for Peter Weber’s heart on season 24 of “The Bachelor” — was recently seen with rumored ex Michael Porter Jr. at an airport in Turks and Caicos. Though Madi never confirmed her romance with the professional basketball player — to whom she was first linked in late 2020 — she indicated in April that they’d called it quits. And in other Bachelor Nation love news… Professional wrestler Kenny King — who competed for Rachel Lindsay’s heart on season 13 of “The Bachelorette” in 2017 and then briefly appeared on season 5 of “Bachelor in Paradise” — announced on his Instagram Story on July 13 that he’s “no longer engaged” and “no longer in a relationship” with hairstylist and makeup artist London Ferris, to whom he got engaged in the summer of 2020.
During a July 12 Instagram Live, Braunwyn Windham-Burke and Sean Burke announced that they’re “going to take a few months apart” with the hope that “having some space” from their relationship will help then gain some clarity on what’s next for them — whether to divorce or continue living together as husband and wife, even though the former “The Real Housewives of Orange County” star in late 2020 came out as a lesbian and has since dated multiple women. During the lengthy video, Braunwyn said that she’s still dating Fernanda Rocha, while Sean noted that he’s looking forward to dating … and encouraged anyone who’s interested to slide into his DMs.
